Finca 1988
Malbec Reserva 2015
The year 1988 pays homage to the year the first child of the Yuan family was born in Argentina. In commemoration, the Yuans decided to buy their own vineyard at the foot of the Andes, in the Tupungato region at 3,627 feet elevation. The soil of this high-altitude vineyard is composed of sand, a small percentage of silt, and abundant surface stones. A strict grape selection process resulted in a limited edition of 10,000 bottles. The wine was aged for 24 months in new French oak barrels. The nose offers intense, ripe plum flavors laced with delicate violet scents. The mouthfeel is full yet soft, with fresh, vibrant acidity and a long, persistent finish.
